Mabelline was born November 19, 1959 in LaGrange, Missouri. In 1960 she arrived in Denver, Colorado with her mother Oma Bell Smith and siblings.

Mabeline was a loving mother to her four children; Carlina, Kenneth, Kimberly and Lane Smith. She pursued her education at Metropolitan State University and earned a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering. She had many jobs to support her family; Daddy Bruce's BBQ, Ron's BBQ, and (L.A.T.A) Los Alamosa Technical Association.

Mabelline was a Christian, she loved the Lord. She believed in doing what was right. She had a large heart full of love and forgiveness. Mabelline helped anyone who needed her help, even when they didn't ask. She took in all types of animals or humans her children brought home and claimed were strays. Mabelline seen value in people, when they did not see it in themselves. Mabelline love to cook and was great at it. From baking, to full course meals, she was amazing. Mabelline was a very artistic person. She loved fixing big home improvements, to small DYI. Mabelline was a great woman that had a great since of fashion, she always dressed sharp. Her home was always stylish. Mabelline had a great since of humor and loved to laugh and made others laugh.

Mabelline loved her role as a grandmother to her 16 grandchildren Deja Ware, Rashawd Smith, La'renz Smith La'rron Smith, Ladavon Springs, Isaiah Smith, Jordan Smith, Ky'shaun Key, Lazaruise Springs, Caleb Smith, Adrian Smith, Isabella Smith, Capri Smith, Gabriel Smith, Romeo Smith, Reese Smith; Great Grandchildren Mardale Smith, Rashawd Jr. Smith.

Mablline was preceded in death by her mother; Oma Bell Smith, Father; Paul Smith and Great Grandchild Rashawd Jr Smith. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Carlina, Kenneth, Kim and Lane (Brittany) Smith, her siblings Christine (Charles) Sander, Wali A. Kahabir, Claudia Harmon, Bobbie (Brian) King, Charles Foster, Jodean Foster, Neoma (Montrose) Burns and a host of grandchildren and great Grandchildren, family and many friends.
