Precious Memories Louise Virginia Fisher Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on, And cherished memories never fade because a love one’s Gone; those we love can never be more than a thought apart; For as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in our heart. Louise Virginia Horn Levy Fisher was born on June 25, 1938 in Goodman, Mississippi to the proud parents of Tommie Lee Horhn and Emma Lee (Williams) Horhn. She was the eighth child out of ten born in the family. She was raised surrounded by her three sisters and six brother, Sarah, Archie, Charlie, Fannie, Tommie, Johnny Will, Curtis, Julius and Katherine. As a child she played basketball, loved to cook and never learned how to ride a bike. Louise received her formal education and graduated from Richmond High School in Holmes County, Mississippi. Louise married Samuel Levy in 1953 in Mississippi. They both loved to dance and listen to music, such as Sam Cooke and Johnny Ace . This union was blessed with four beautiful children, Darcey, Jeffrey, Charlestene and Mavis. Louise later married Jerry Fisher in Colorado, there were no children to this union. Louise was later blessed with her 9 grandchildren. Ayana, Darcey, Kesha, Tremaine, D’Nisha, Tyrell, Tyreece, Demetrius and Narquisse and16 great grandchildren, Malik, Malani, Maliah, Mataen, Zemyrea, Zavyonnah, Nijahray, Tremaine Jr, Kimora, Mackenzie, Mehki, D’Onie, Tyron, Aly’ja, A’Jaylan and A’Mari, who where an additional source of joy and pride in her life.They lovingly gave her the nicknames of Grandma Mom, Mema and Grandma Weezy. She loved all her grand and great grandchildren and would talked about then all the time. They fondly remember all the happy and precious moments they shared together. By Profession, Louise worked at Fitzsimons as a cashier and later in her life started a career as a host home provider. She enjoyed taking care of any and everyone. She was a hard - working, dedicated and performed her duties with a spirit of excellence. A woman of faith and belief in the Lord, Louise attended Heritage Christian Center in Aurora Colorado for a few years. Louise was a fun-loving woman, who enjoyed life and those she encircled. She would hang out with her friends Sharon White, Doris Jackson and Olivetta Oliver, they will miss their camaraderie they shared together. In her free time Louise loved to cook, decorate and listen to gospel music, her favorite song was Amazing Grace. Louise loved her family and friends, she always went above and beyond to make sure those she cared for were taken care of. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful woman. To know Louise was to love her. She is preceded in death by her parents Tommie Lee Horhn and Emma Lee Horhn; son, Jeffrey Levy; sisters, Fannie and Katherine; brothers,Tommie, Johnny Will, Curtis and Julius and great grandson Tremaine Levy Jr. Louise V Fisher departed this life on Friday August 18, 2017 in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss includes, her children, Darcey Levy Sr,, Mavis (Johnnie Butler) Levy and Charlestene Levy. her grandchildren, Ayana Levy, Darcey (Megan) Levy Jr, Kesha Levy, Tremaine (Requitta) Levy, D’Nisha Levy, Tyrell Levy, Tyreece Levy, Demetrius Levy and Narquisse Levy, her great grandchildren, Malik, Malani, Maliah, Mataen, Zemyrea, Zavyonnah, Nijahray, Kimora, Mackenzie, Mehki, D’Onie, Tyron, Aly’ja, A’Jaylan and A’Mari; her sister, Sarah Thomas of Aurora, Colorado; her brothers Archie Horhn of Cleveland, Ohio and Charlie Horhn of Jackson, Mississippi; also a host of many other relatives and friends
