Lisa Mckizzic

Lisa Carol McKizzic was born on June 29, 1965 to her parents, LeRoy McKizzic and Loretta Briggs McKizzic in Los Angeles, California. Lisa was the 4th of five children born to this union. She was raised surrounded by her brothers, Michael and Raymond, and her sisters, Pamela and Rozetta. While Lisa was young, the family relocated to Denver, Colorado. As a child, Lisa loved to play with her brothers and sisters, and hang out with her friends dancing, listening to music, and shopping. Lisa attended Gateway High School where she graduated in 1983. She continued her education at Concorde Career College and in 1997; Lisa graduated with her Medical Assistant Diploma. She went on to work for various doctors, clinics, and blood and plasma donation centers. She loved helping people. Her co-workers would describe her as dedicated and committed to serve. Lisa was a devoted and loving mother to her sons, Lorin and Raymond. They would share many happy memories together. She was later blessed with three grandchildren, Lorin, La'Vaughn'Dre, and ZaNaya. They would lovingly call her, Mama." Lisa was member of the Potter's House of Denver. When she could attend services, she was truly blessed. In her free-time, Lisa loved listening to music and watching scary movies. Her friends, Regina Allen, and LaVita will miss the time they shared. Lisa was a kind women with love to share. She will be missed by all who were blessed enough to have known her. Lisa Carol McKizzic departed this life on October 11, 2015, in Aurora, Colorado. She leaves to cherish her memory and to mourn her loss include her sons, Lorin Scott, II, Raymond McKizzic; her mother, Loretta McKizzic; her siblings, Michael McKizzic, Raymond McKizzic, Pamela K. Flogel, Rozetta Wallace; her grandchildren, Lorin D. Scott, III, La'Vaughn'Dre J. Scott, ZaNaya K. L. Scott, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
