Linda Valencia Mazion-Kore was born on March 19, 1961 Orlando, Florida to her parents Mary Alice and Herman Lee Mazion Sr. She was one of eight children born to this union and was raised with her siblings, Leon, Tony, Mary, Charles, Herman, Travielle and Netesha. She was educated in Florida Public Schools where she attended and graduated from Mitchell High School.
Linda worked for many years in healthcare as a CNA. She worked for Bayada Home Healthcare where she served with a sprit of excellence. Linda was the proud mother to Andrae, Demetria and Leibert Phillips, she invested an abundance of time into the futures of her children and wanted to ensure that they were set up for success. She gained an additional source of pride and joy when she was blessed with her grandchildren, China Mazion, Kymmy Mazion, Delmarco Perry, Zada Perry, Dante Mazion and Yassin Lasril.
A woman of faith, Linda knew that her help came from the Lord, and she instilled this in her children and grandchildren. Linda was an evangelist who loved to preach the gospel and pray for anyone in need. She had an anointed and amazing voice, and she sung with compassion. She made quite a name for herself over the years and inspired others who wanted to follow similar pathways.
To know Linda was to love her, she was an amazing woman who loved everyone. She would help anyone in need and made it her mission to be as impactful as possible. Needless to say, Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mary Alice Mazion and Herman Lee Mazion.
Linda joined her Lord and Savior on April 13, 2022. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Andrae Delmarco Lee Mazion, Demetria (Mohammed Lasri) Mazion, and Leibert (Booman) Phillips; siblings, Leon Woods, Tony Mazion, Mary Ann Mazion, Charles Mazion, Herman Lee Mazion Jr., Travielle Edward Hargrove, and Netesha Hysaw; grandchildren, China Mazion, Kymmy Mazion, Delmarco Perry, Zada Perry, Dante Mazion, Yassin Lasril; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
