Leroy Autry III, affectionately known as El’A to his family and friends, was born in Ocala, Marion County, Florida to the union of Stephanie ‘Cookie’ Autry and the late Leroy Autry Jr. El’A had a larger than life personality and lived his life BIG. El’A was a car enthusiast who loved to look good from head to toe; no matter what he was doing or how he was feeling. He loved being outdoors and was an avid fisherman, he loved nabbing the next big catch! Leroy lived his life surrounded by loving friends and family who will miss him dearly. He leaves to cherish his memory his Queen and mother Stephanie ‘Cookie’ Autry, his siblings, Damion Autry (Nicole), Feliscia Autry (Wyndel), and JaKobee Autry (Alishia). He also leaves a legacy in his children LaNieceya (Joniece Wolfolk), and Yorel, Montae, and Lyriq and their loving mother and his life partner of 18 years Brittny Hart.
El’A was loved from coast to coast by family in both Florida and Colorado. There are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. His grandparents Lois and Leroy Autry and Marian and Eugene Wingo have undoubtedly welcomed him to the sweet eternal with opened arms.
You fought a good fight; now rest easy El’A until that time when we shall meet again.
