Laura Ann Golston, 99 of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2021 with her family by her side. Laura was born on December 12, 1921, to her parents Victoria Longus and Richard Golston. She was the sixth born of nine children to this union.
She was born in Cuba and raised in Topeka, Kansas where she would met and married Warren Daniels. To this union nine children were born. Laura later moved to Denver, Colorado in the early 60’s. She then met Preston Simon to whom twin daughters were born. Laura would later met Robert Wells and they had a son who they named Ronnie Wells.
Laura enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling, bingo, and spending time with family. She was a devout member of the Eastern Star for more than 20 years where she gave much to the community including involvements with the American Red Cross. She was blessed with many years on this earth and had gained so much wisdom that she shared with everyone. Through the trials and tribulations of her life she stayed focused and faithful which allowed for her to continue to prosper. She will truly be missed and was such a blessing to all those who were fortunate to have known her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Victoria Ann Longus and Richard Frank Golston; siblings Carl, Henry, Richard, Ophelia, Francis, Ruby and Nadine; children Ralph and Laurie. She is survived by Aunt Doll, Aunt Rudel her children Warren and Robin Daniels, Royal and Shirley Daniels, daughter in law Judy and Dwayne and Alice Daniels, Victor and companion Randy, Anita, Carol, Jackie and Ivan Grant, Ronnie, sister in law Cindy, and Dwight and Tyra, grandchildren Dawn Marie, Neta, Chris, Antonio, Danny, Sean, Juanita, Carl, Allea, Victor II, Little George, Marccia, Laccia, Nita, Taunette, Angie, Wilson, Carletta, Jamie, BJ, Lacey, Ron Ron, Dwight Jr. , Destina’e, several additional grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great children.
