Larry Lee Rawlins, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many, was born on November 26, 1946, in the quiet town of Englewood, Colorado. He gently traversed this world until his passing on October 20, 202, in Denver,, leaving behind a defined by kindness, love and a spirit that never met a stranger.
He was the third born in a family, surrounded by his dear siblings, Stanley, Joey, and Shirley Together, they forged bonds would last a lifetime, creating a constellation of memories that sparkled brightly in his heart. His childhood nurtured a spirit of curiosity and a knack for finding beauty in the mundane, always on the lookout for things to fix, a skill he carried into adulthood with great joy.
Larry’s journey through life was marked by a commitment to service, having enlisted in the U.S. Army on September 8, 1967, and honorably discharged on June 6, 1969. This chapter of his life enriched him, allowing him to contribute to something greater than himself while forging friendships that would endure beyond the barracks.
His formal education through the Denver Public Schools laid a strong foundation for his curious mind. Armed with knowledge, Larry became known within his community as a lovable and kind figure, always ready with a smile and a helping hand.
