Lanita Mccowan

LaNita Rene McCowan was born November 19, 1972 in Denver, CO to Gloria Jean Miller and Jimmy Lee McCowan.

Nita also affectionately known as “Pearl” was a beloved mother to her son Rei-Jon Gash, grandma to two boys Rashod and Roshie Gash, sister to Damon Miller Sr., an auntie, niece, cousin, friend and so much more to all who knew her.

Remembering that all things are in God’s hands, Nita was called home to the embrace of the Lord on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at 8:41pm. She resided in Hampton, GA at her time of transition.

To know her was to love her. May our angel continue to live on through our hearts and our memories.
