Later, she went on to attend Regis College to pursue her BA in Computer Sciences. While attending Regis she was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Sorority Denver campus chapter.

Kim gave birth to 2 children, she was not the one to take the role of motherhood lightly. She raised her children in church and taught them the unconditional love of GOD. From day 1 she was always very attentive to the needs and wants of her children and her loving and caring nature shined even brighter with her 7 grandchildren.

Kim became saved and holy ghost filled in 1978 while attending St. Louis Bibleway Church in St. Louis while pregnant with her eldest child. One year later after moving back to Denver, she became a member of Heritage Christian Center in Aurora, Colorado, where she was a member until 1996.

She worked as a Data Processor for US West now ATT in Denver, Colorado. for 15ys where she retired from. She was also a DP3 in the United States Navy, were she was Honorably Discharged and received numerous letters of appreciation from her superiors.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, William Woods; and 6 her siblings.
