Jyles Mccarty

Jyles JonDale McCarty was born on August 22, 1982 in Denver, Colorado to his parents Sheryl Denise McCarty and Jyles JonDale Arkadie. He was one of two children born to this union. He was a momma’s by from birth and continued to be throughout his adulthood. Jyles matured very quickly at a young age, he was very respectful and responsible, he listened well to his peers and did what was asked of him with a smile on his face. Jyles took a liking to animals, he had pets that he cared for and he showed his appreciation to his parents for allowing him to have them.

Jyles was educated through Aurora Public Schools; he attended primary school at Vassar Elementary; secondary school at Mracheck Middle School; and High School at Thomas Jefferson where he graduated in 2000. Jyles was a very talented young man who received amazing grades, but who also had a relationship with the Lord. He was baptized in 1986 by Reverend Garfield and was a member of Greater Saint John Baptist Church where he took on the role of mentorship through his calling. Jyles had such a knack for making people feel comfortable, he would often start up conversations with people that he didn’t know and took time to learn about their legacies. Jyles was also very giving, although he did not have a lot and gave so much, he never worried about how he would be taken care of.

During his free time, Jyles enjoyed fishing, camping, socializing and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. Jyles was blessed with six children who he adored, Kavarie Washington of Phoenix, AZ, Deontae Woods of Dallas, TX, King Martin of Denver, CO and Major Martin of Denver, CO, Markhya Thompson of Dallas, TX and Juquia Martin of Denver, CO. Jyles also hade several life longs friends that he adored such as his brother Shelton, Aris, Ashley and his cousin Zanaha.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Kavarie Washington, Deontae Woods, King Martin, Marjor Martin, Markhya Thompson, and Juquia Martin; his mother Sheryl Denise McCarty; grandchild Miss Moxie; and brother Shelton Darden Jr.
