Joyce Tuggle was born September 1, 1949 in Emmett, Arkansas, to her mother Juanita and father De’Dell Dennis Sr. She was the second child born into this family. Her brothers, De’dell Dennis Jr and Charles Collins loved their only sister dearly and became her protectors.
Joyce became a mother in 1965. She had four lovely daughters, Anita Burkley, Sherry Tuggle, Jerrilynn Tuggle, Charlotte Tuggle, and her only son Dominic Tisdale. Joyce was very family oriented, she liked to throw parties, enjoyed cooking and, she loved to dance. She loved to dance so much so that she created a dance of her own “Slow WalK” Nanas taught her dance to everyone. In fact, at any time she could call on anyone in the room to preform her dance!
Joyce worked as a dietary aid for many years, before retiring. She spent her last six years working at Berkley Manor Care Centre in Denver, Colorado. Joyce loved serving her community! Outside of working as a dietary aid, Nanas often fed her neighbours or anyone in need of a hot meal.
She is survived by her three children, fifteen grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren, One great great grandchild, two, brothers along with many other friends and family.
