Joseph Glaspie

December 29, 1962 — March 16, 2018

Joseph Leroy Glaspie was born on December 29, 1962 in Parsons, Kansas to parents Carrie (Moore) Glaspie and Clarence Glaspie. Joseph grew up surrounded by an abundance of love. He was one of 14 siblings. Joseph enjoyed being outdoors and was able to make a living by doing landscaping work. He was meticulous in his work and took pride in a job well done. Joseph loved music and would listen to a variety of genres. He could spend hours listening to Old School R&B and Soul music. His favorite music however, was the Blues. Joseph was a family man and loved his children beyond measure. Daughter LaTasha fondly remembers him being by her side when she was hospitalized and how he always made sure to call and check on her and his granddaughter, Tanisha. Joseph met the love of his life, Ronette Winn over 18 years ago. Since that first meeting, they were hooked. They enjoyed many of the same things in life, but mostly just being in the company of one another. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Carrie Glaspie. The Lord called Joseph Leroy Glaspie home on March 8, 2018. He now rests in His eternal peace. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include; his wife, Ronette Winn of Denver, Colorado; daughters, LaTasha Maxwell and Tiffany Baldwin, both of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Tanisha Maxwell and London Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
