Life’s Journey
Joseph Theodore Crossley, Jr.
To plant a seed in one’s heart…to root it in love…
To nourish it with time spent together…
Yields a blossom that will flourish forever.
Joseph Theodore Crossley, Jr. was born on December 28, 1965, in Norristown, Pennsylvania. His parents, Joseph T. Crossley, Sr., and Maureen Donnelly Crossley took great pride in his care and nurture. As a child, he was a member of the Boy Scouts, and he always enjoyed the time spent with his parents and family. Special memories include the many trips to Florida and their summer home in Browns Mills, New Jersey.
Joseph received his formal education by graduating from the Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On July 28, 1990, Joseph united in holy matrimony to the former, Donna M. Moyer. They first met in Philadelphia and exchanged vows at Our Lady of Calvary Church. He was the proud father of five beautiful children, Joseph, William, Jennifer, Joshua, and Rachel. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. The family shared many happy and precious moments together including, hockey games, concerts, roller skating, watching sports, playing air drums in the car, hunting, going on family cruises, and the trips to Pennsylvania.
Joseph was later blessed with four grandchildren, Jared, Leila, Emlynn, and Hazel, who all were an additional source of joy and pride in his life. They lovingly called him “GG” and fondly remember the facetime conversations, going to church, camping, hockey games, concerts, the cruises, hunting, and spending time together during holidays and birthdays.
By profession, Joseph was the President/Owner Operator of Amor Security Systems, Inc. He was hardworking, dedicated, and performed his duties with excellence and expertise.
His staff members Jennifer Carney, Donna Crossley, Todd Martinez, Joe Martinez, and Howard Lantz, will miss his leadership and willingness to be helpful, supportive, and understanding. He and Donna have been owners of Armor Security Systems for 25 years.
Joseph was a fun-loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, horseback riding, ATV riding, camping, and spending quality time with family and friends in his free time. His closest friends, Jack Williams, Chris McTaggart, his cousin, Bill Crossley, and his wife, Donna Crossley, will miss his compassion, willingness to help others, work ethic, perseverance, and determination. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful man. To know Joseph was to love him.
Joseph Theodore Crossley, Jr. departed this life to the embrace of the Lord on October 18, 2021, in Aurora, Colorado.
