Jonathan Kelley

Jonathan Lee Kelley (Jay) was born September 2, 1976 in Huntingon, PA to his mother Cheryl Ann Champeno. He was the oldest to his younger brother Ronnie Champeno.

As a child Jonathan was very active, he loved to ride big wheels, Bicycles and play in the snow. He also liked to swim and take pictures of tornadoes.

Jon received his formal education from Denver Public Schools and graduated from George Washington High School in 1995.

Jon was never married. or had children, but always found great joy helping others, he was the kind of person who was always there to lend a hand. He would give you the shirt off his back

Jon worked at MHCD of Denver as a Chef. His coworkers remember Jon would always have a smile on his face and was a hard worker. Jon never missed a day of work and performed his duties with a spite of excellence.

In August of this year, he suffered severe injuries in a accident which led to other complications which he never fully recovered Through all is trials and tribulations, he always managed to keep a positive attitude, smile and sense of humor. he always said when he recovered from the accident he wanted go back to work.

Jon actually lived a very simple fun-loving life. He was most content in his free time, he liked to wear his headphones and listen to music outside his house. And spending quality time with his mother and friends

He will always be remembered as a helpful, gentle, kind hearted person

Jonathan departed this life quietly on January 11,2019 in Denver, Colorado. and leaves to cherish his loving memory, his loving mother, Cheryl A. Champeno; and a host of friends.

To know Jonathan was to love him He will be greatly missed by all.
