John’s passion was service. He served his country in the Vietnam War. He served his community working as a firefighter for 36 years, along with many other charitable works. He helped his family whenever they were in need. He helped people, even when he was in need of help himself. Never, would a friend be alone for Thanksgiving dinner if he had anything to say about it. His smile would light up the world. There isn’t enough that could be said about his compassion, humility, and kindness.
