Jerome Cummings

Jerome Samuel Cummings, Sr. was born on May 8, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri to his parents Samuel Turner and Louise Cummings. He was raised in the Baptist faith. At the age of 18, he graduated from Halter High School in Missouri, soon after, Jerome moved to Ogden, Utah where he met Sue Walker, to this union Jerome Jr., Christina, and Angelina were born. In 1986, Jerome moved from Utah to make Denver, Colorado his home. In Denver, he met Pamela and welcomed Nathaniel into this world. Jerome enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, biking, skateboarding, and bingo. He also loved cooking, barbeques, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite words were "Woody Woo!" He met Diane Avery on July 17, 2001; she has many happy memories of Jerome. Jerome was an inspiration to many in his community. He was recognized with several certificates of appreciation for his efforts in the community. He was respected for his insight and sense of humor. Jerome Samuel Cummings, Sr. departed this life in the embrace of the Lord May 1, 2013 in Denver, Colorado. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted companion, Diane Avery; his children, Jerome Jr. (Tiny Boy) , Christina, and Angelina of Ogden, Utah, Ebony D. (Michael) Garcia, Shameka (Darrin) DeBouse, Carlos (September) Anderson of Denver, Colorado, Nathaniel Cummings of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his brothers, Charles M. (Cherice) Cummings, Andrew (Angela) Cummings, Dwayne Cummings all of St. Louis, Missouri, Joseph F. Willis of San Antonio, Texas; his sisters, Jacqueline Cummings, Linda Cummings, and Laronda D. (Billie) Moore all of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Takari, Jayden, Luja M., Jaylen, Kvonne, Mickaeleh all of Denver, Colorado, Aessiah, Areonia of Ogden, Utah; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.
