Born November 13, 1978, in Rockford, Illinois, Jason Troy joined the Leni Toll and Chester Bailey family. Jason was the youngest of four boys. He learned to navigate life with thee big brother.
Jason was educated in the Rockford, Illinois school system. He took some course beyond high school to enhance his knowledge and skill levels. He did whatever was necessary to advance his knowledge and career.
After high school worked various jobs but worked in construction for most of his life. In 2009, Jason moved to Denver, Colorado seeking a new beginning. He served as a foreman for the Q-3 Contracting. Jason was also an active member of the Labor Union 720.
Jason was a fun loving man who had a robust sense of humor. He was always joking with friend and family. He had a healthy appetite and he enjoyed food of all types. Family was very important to Jason. He was dedicated to his two daughters Jacien and Jacquelyn as well as his devoted companion of 11 years, Shawnte Lanice Jones. Jason treated Shawn’s children, Tyler and Brooklyn Jones, as his own. He was a wonderful provider and protector. Jason had a loving relationship with his Aunt’s Sallie and Bonnie as well as his cousins Daneel Burbey, Dale Brown, and Kelly Berry. Jason will be remember for his sense of humor, loving and caring spirit.
On November 17, 2020, Jason departed this life. He is proceeded in death by his parents Leni Toll and Chester Bailey. Left to cherish his memory is his devoted companion Shawnte Lanice Jones, his daughters Jacien Erickson and Jacqueline Bailey, his brother’s Ray, Ron and John Adamski, stepchildren Tyler and Brooklyn Jones, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
