Jani Ward

Jani Sanford Ward was a devoted mother, and an overall amazing person. She spend her life as a home maker, Iron worker, and a Caregiver in later years. Born in San Francisco in 1947, she spent her early years with 3 siblings, loving life. She met Darryl Ward, the love of her life, in Artesia NM. while pursuing a college degree. They had one child, Jeff Ward. While not caring for her family, she worked construction as an Iron worker for many years. She enjoyed the physical activity, and camaraderie. She would leave for work at 4 am, and return at 8pm, just to make ends meet. After becoming technically disabled, she spend the next 12 years as a wonderful in home Caregiver for many clients. Her attention to detail, warm persona, and nurturing way allowed many clients to be comfortable and at peace in their later years. She leaves behind a loving son and daughter, 3 siblings, and her 100 year old mother. Jani, always know that through thick and thin, we always loved and supported you. We take comfort in knowing your in a better place.
