Jaliel Hemmings

Jaliel Nassir Dwight Hemmings (Taylor) aka as Lil Anthony, and his mother's "Sugar Bear", was conceived from the strong union of his proud parents Tanya and Anthony Hemmings (Taylor). Born on January 8, 2006 the middle of 5 children, Lil Anthony left his mark on the world in a way that normally a middle child doesn't. As a baby Lil Anthony entered this world as a carbon copy of his father, thus the name Lil Anthony came into play. Wise beyond his years, Lil Anthony started walking at 10 months and talking soon thereafter. Lil Anthony wasted no time keeping up with his oldest brother Jalecc, the bond these two had was unbreakable and although Lil Anthony is not here with us, their bond will never be broken. Jalecc will have Lil Anthony in his heart forever. Lil Anthony thought that he was older than his older sister Kashmier, these two could have a disagreement and then text each other the next day stating how much they thought about and loved one another. As a big brother to his two younger brothers Christopher and Christian, Lil Anthony would take his brothers out to play. However when he was worn out by the two he knew how to do a disappearing act on them by walking them to their mother and then make his exit. Lil Anthony had three "roll dogs" Jassir, Little Curtis and Jermaine his cousins. Lil Anthony was known to disappear almost every week like a little man with plans for the weekend. He would go visit his grandmother, grandfather, cousins, aunties and uncles. Lil Anthony started his educational journey attending Paris Elementary for Kindergarten and 1st grade. Then Lil Anthony started attending McMeen Elementary from the 2nd grade through the 4th grade. Our baby was on his way to the 5th grade. It was blessing for Lil Anthony to have attended McMeen, he participated fully in the school's activities, applied his self to the fullest, and exceled academically in his school work. Lil Anthony was a kind gentle giant for a little guy. He loved to be hugged and kissed by his loved ones. The baby "LOVED" his siblings more than any words can describe. Lil Anthony was the "Selfie KING", you would see him singing to phone and/or taking pictures of his self. He was the funniest little guy, cracking jokes and tricking you if he could. And how Lil Anthony could mimic the old school singing groups – he could "bring it in" and "take it down" like only New Edition does when they are singing to the ladies. Anthony leaves behind to cherish his memories Mother Tanya Hemmings, Father Anthony Hemmings, Siblings Jalecc, Kashmier, Christopher, Christian. Aunties, Uncles, many cousins and other family and friends.
