Jacquelyn Smith

Jacqueline Smith was born March 29, 1957 to Jack Castro and Ernestine Russell, in Denver, Colorado. She was the oldest of four children to bless the family. Jacqueline grew up surrounded by her siblings, Ronald, David and Rudy Russell.

Jacqueline received her education by attending Denver Public Schools. She continued her education and received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate from the legendary Emily Griffith Opportunity School. She was a great caregiver, with a compassionate, caring and gentle heart.
Jacqueline was swept off her feet by the love of her life, Mr. Jesse Smith, who she was so blessed to have two wonderful children with; Crystal and Jessica Smith.

Jacqueline was also blessed with eight wonderful grandchildren, Kedric, Bobby, JJ, Keshawn, Jordell, Janyia, Davale and Dolan Lee whom she enjoyed doing everything with. Her grandchildren where her pride and joy, she would join them going to parks, parades and most of all she loved going out to eat with them.

Jacqueline is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Smith. Her precious daughter, Crystal, her parents, Jack and Ernestine; her brothers, Ronald, David and Rudy.
Jacqueline departed this life on January 9, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Jessica Smith; grandchildren, a host of many family members and great friends.

To know Jaqueline was to love Jaqueline.
