Ivory Jean Jackson Linville was born on January 28, 1945, in Lubbock, Texas to her parents, Aaron Chambers, and Clairesse Waffer. She was the seventh of seven children. She was the youngest but bossy, bossing everyone around, and very loving. Ivory met Ellis Linville after relocating the Denver, Colorado. On August 20, 1993, Ivory and Ellis would marry at the courthouse. The two of them would become inseparable, sharing a family eight to include, Garfield "Bishop", Billy, Margaret, Sammy, Ellis, Jr., Veggie, Perry, and Delilah. Later, she was blessed with a host of grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She worked for the American Micro Data Company as a Microfilm Data Entry Technician. Her co-workers would consider her a joy to be around. Ivory worked tirelessly for 29 years. Ivory was a faithful, committed member of Jordan Chapel AME Church for 24 years. She was a dedicated usher in the service of the Lord. In her free time, Ivory loved to sewing, fishing, and taking rides in the car. She loved her sisters and hanging with them one day a week for bonding. She was caring to every person she met. Loved by all and cherished by most, Ivory will truly be missed. Ivory was preceded by her children, Billy Charles, Margaret Jackson, Sammy Jackson; her parents, Aaron Chambers, Clairesse Waffer; and her step daughter, Veggie Linville; her sisters, Ada Mae Burns, Willie Mae Smalls, and Texanna Howard. Ivory Jean Linville departed this life on January 24, 2016, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memories and mourn her loss include, her loving husband of 32 years, Ellis Linville; her son, Garfield "Bishop" Chambers; her sister, Era Bell Anderson; her stepchildren, Perry Linville, Ellis Linville, Jr., Delilah Bell; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives, and friends.
