Isaiah Wilson

Isaiah Wilson was born on December 6, 1958 to his parents, Mary Lou Hammonds and Leon Joe Wilson in Monroe, Louisiana. He was raised with his siblings seven siblings and the families bond stayed strong throughout the duration of Isaiah’s life. Isaiah was the quiet child who kept to himself for the most part but was quite funny when you could get him to warm up.

The family relocated to Denver, Colorado, where Isaiah received his formal education. Following high school, he began a career in shipping and handling. He was a Service Attendant who was reliable and always handled his duties with a spirit of excellence. 

In addition to his professional achievements, Isaiah had a strong faith and enjoyed going to church. He was raised Baptist and always sought ways to serve . Isaiah's devotion to his faith was an integral part of who he was.

Isaiah was a casual kind of guy, he enjoyed the presence of his family when they would gather, but also enjoyed having time to himself where he could just sit back and relax. His kind unwavering nature will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Isaiah passed away peacefully into the embrace of his Lord and Savior on February 7, 2024. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lou and Leon Joe Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Rosie White, Sarah Sims, and Michelle Johnson; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. They will cherish the memories they shared with him and continue to hold him dear in their hearts. May his soul find eternal rest as we celebrate his life together.
