Frankie Hunt

Frankie Wilson was born on March 31,1931 in Sterling, Wyoming to Henry and Rhoda Wilson. She was the fourth child born to this family and grew up in a loving home with her three brothers, Lonnie, Norman, and John; and two sisters, Louise and Dollie. Frankie attended and graduated from Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She later moved to Denver Colorado and pursued her career as a licensed surgical technician. She was employed at Mercy Hospital and had a lucrative career there for twenty-five years as a technician and also a nurse until her retirement. Because she had a deep love for caring for others, she later continued her career working as a private duty nurse. Frankie met and married George Jones, and to this union three children were born; Robin, Stephanie, and Steven. She later married Dr. Theodore Hunt. Her greatest love in life was spending time with her family and she thought the world of them. In her free time, she loved to play bingo, go to the “Hills” to visit the different casinos with her sister and daughters as well as hang out with her family and friends. She had a special talent for cooking and enjoyed hosting family events. Frankie had a huge heart and helped anyone who needed it no matter how big or small. She was called home to be with the lord on March 17, 2018. Preceding her in death were both parents, Henry Wilson and Rhoda Wilson; husband, Dr. Theodore Hunt; brothers, Lonnie Wilson and Norman Wilson; and sister, Louise Pipkin. Left to cherish her memory, life and legacy are her children, Robin Jones (Larry), Stephanie Jones, and Steven Jones Sr. all of Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren, who she loved deeply, Nicole Wallin, Jevon Wallin, Chantelle Tillman, Quincy Wallin, Steven Jones Jr., Dominique Taylor, and Celeste Coleman; four great-grandchildren, Jevon Wallin, Inecia Tillman, Kennedi Peoples, and Jordan Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
