Frank Morales, Jr.
“Poncho”
Frank Morales, Jr. affectionately known as "Poncho," was born on August 12, 1955, in Denver to his parents, Frank Morales, Sr., and Sally Esparza He was the forth child of seven born to this union.. Poncho was a happy child and grew up surrounded by his brothers and sisters.
As a young boy growing up in Denver Public Schools, Poncho was known for his unique personality and infectious spirit. His favorite saying was "it's not that bad, hita or hito", a reminder to find the positive even in the most challenging of times. Poncho' met Germain Rodriguez the love of his life and in 1982 they joined in matrimony and to this union two children were born, Danielle and Joshua. They were the greatest joy of his life.
Poncho was a man of many talents and interests. From a young age, he exemplified great hustle and entrepreneurial spirit which became apparent when he moved to Portland as a teenager before returning to Denver. He was dedicated to the streets and earned himself the reputation of being a true hustler.
One of Poncho's proudest accomplishments was embodying the famous Frank Sinatra song "I Did It My Way." When he set his mind on something, he showed unwavering determination to achieve it. His strong will and independent nature were admired by all who knew him.
A true legend in his own right, Poncho impacted countless lives with his genuine kindness and generosity. Those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him will always remember him as one of a kind. His presence brought joy into any room he entered.
In his free time, Poncho enjoyed gambling and finding ways to make money. He had a passion for wrestling and found great excitement in the sport. Poncho also had a deep love for exotic animals. He fulfilled his dream of owning a lion, displaying his adventurous spirit. Additionally, he took delight in gifting his daughter a pony, which filled him with immense pride.
Poncho's legacy will continue to live on within the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him. His charismatic personality and unwavering spirit will forever be treasured. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. May the memories of Frank Morales, Jr., bring solace and peace to all who mourn his loss.
