September 30, 1940 — February 14, 2019

Frances Elaine Leali was born on September 30, 1940, in Denver Colorado to Charles E. Leali and Helen Belle Jackson-Leali. Frances was the fifth born of six children. She received her formal education in the Denver Public Schools, Whittier Elementary, Cole Junior High School, and

Manual High School. Frances received her higher education at Colorado State University. After finishing school Frances owned and operated Leali Chapeau where she designed and sold couture church hats. During her free-time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, elegant dining, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Frances accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a teenager under the leadership of Bishop Chester E. Morgan and Pastor Samuel Feaster of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ. She was a member of the choir, the Church Secretary, Sunday School Teacher, and Youth Usher Board President. At her father's church, New Hope Church of God in Christ, Pastor Charles E. Leali, she served as Sunday School Teacher, Usher President (trained under Mother Ruth Bookman), Choir President, Secretary, Prayer Warrior, and served in any capacity as needed. Frances was the Jurisdiction of Colorado Sunday School Secretary under the leadership of Bishop Phillip Porter. In January 2012, she was one of the founding members of Bread of Life Pentecostal Church of God in Christ under Pastor James M. Harris, Jr. She served the Lord and her church diligently. In later years, Frances spent every day with her sister. Dolores, and always looked forward to seeing her nephew who she referred to as "Brotha-Pastor" and hearing from her sister, Val Jean, every Sunday evening. Many devoted family members always made sure she had everything she needed, and she never hesitated to return the favor. She is preceded in death by her father, Pastor Charles E. Leali, Sr., her mother, Helen Belle Leali, and her twin brothers, Dr. Jewel Baker, I, and Dr. Joel Baker.
