'BUTCH"
Eugene "Butch" Hubbart was born on April 30, 1966, in Denver, Colorado to his parents Patsy and Morris Hubbart.
Educated in Denver Public Schools and a proud graduate of George Washington High School, Butch valued knowledge and continuously sought opportunities for personal growth. Throughout his life, he embraced every challenge as an opportunity to learn and evolve. His resilience served as an inspiration to many. After high school Butch met and married Crystal Fisher and to this union five children were born, Cyrus, Little Butch, Eugene, Jr., Angel and Demetrius after this marriage was dissolved. he fathered Shantae’. Later he met the love of his life Marlis D. Sneed.
From a young age, Butch's infectious love for dance captivated everyone around him. Whether it was breaking out moves at family gatherings or showcasing his talent on stage, his rhythmic energy brought joy to those who witnessed it. Butch's passion extended beyond the dance floor; he found solace and fulfillment in the noble sport of boxing. Known to be fiercely determined, Butch once famously declared that he would "fight a stop sign" if given the chance. His bravery and tenacity were evident both in and outside the ring.
Butch's charismatic personality was as captivating as his dancing feet. Known for his forgiving nature and genuine kindness, he touched the lives of countless individuals along his journey. He had a way of making everyone feel valued through his warm smile and compassionate demeanor. He taught us the power of forgiveness and reminded us that love should always prevail.
Butch's passion for living extended beyond dancing; he enjoyed playing basketball, engaging in friendly pool matches, but above all else, spending quality time with his loved ones brought him immense happiness. As we bid farewell to Eugene "Butch" Hubbart today, it is essential that we remember him not with sorrow but with appreciation for the beautiful life he lived. Eugene "Butch" Habbart departed this life on December 24,2023 in Denver, Colorado, his memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Marlis D. Sneed, his parents Patsy and Paul White; his brothers, Emanuel Hubbart and Jervay White; his children, Cyrus, Little Butch, Eugene Jr., Angel, Demetrius and also Shantae’; grandchildren, Mariye Fisher, Sariya Fisher, Zon'Nie Hubbart, Cori Hubbart, Cobi Hubbart, Corbi Hubbart -- his pride and joy; as well as great-grandchildren and numerous others who held a special place in his heart.
Butch was a vibrant individual whose passion for life touched the hearts of all who knew him. With the utmost respect and admiration for his character and achievements, we reflect on the remarkable journey of this extraordinary man.
