Ericka Bowdry

Ericka Monique Bowdry was born on January 30, 1987, in Denver, Colorado to Charles Bowdry and Cynthia Tidwell (Bowdry). She was the only daughter of Charles and the only child of Cynthia. Ericka has one brother, Darryl Bowdry.

Ericka was a shy child around those whom she did not know well, but once she got to know you, she liked to hang out with you. She was good at entertaining herself, as she was the only child in the house, she liked playing with her dolls and other toys. She loved going to visit with her cousins, Nicky, Flate and Wesley, she considered them her other siblings. As a teen, she enjoyed being with her friends and liked to invite them over, she also liked going to the mall with friends. She was on the step team in at Gateway High School. Ericka was on the National Honor Roll and graduated early. She attended Metropolitan State University and completed three years of college.

In her adult life, Ericka loved to cook and would cook for family events. She loved watching cooking shows and trying out new recipes with her Mom. She also enjoyed listening to music, trying out new hairstyles, going out to restaurants and being with her friends, she also loved to travel.

Ericka worked in Customer Service positions and recently obtained her Notary license.

Ericka Bowdry departed from this life on March 14, 2019 in Denver, Colorado. She leaves to cherish her memory and to mourn her loss, her parents, Cynthia and Charles Bowdry, her brother, Darryl Bowdry, a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Also, her Godmother, Aunt Lois, best friends, Tiffany, Isaiah, Cedric, Qwasie and Brittany, and other friends too numerous to name.
