Elizabeth Manuel

Elizabeth Manuel was born on February 9, 1952, in Clovis, New Mexico to her parents, Jimmie Lee Nance and Margaret Jones Nance. She was the first child born in the family. The
family eventually relocated to Denver, Colorado and she received her early education by attending Manual High School.

On February 17, 1972, she married Carl E. Manuel, Jr. in Denver, Colorado. She was the proud mother of two beautiful children, Dennis and Corena. She was later blessed with four grandchildren, Ja'Shya, Ka'Mya, Jeremiah, and La'Rya who lovingly called her "Grammie." They fondly remember her spoiling them by giving them whatever they wanted. Carl preceded her in death.

Elizabeth was a fun-loving woman, who enjoyed life and those she encircled. In her free time, she enjoyed watching scary movies and karate movies. Her closest friend/devoted cousin, other friends include Wilma Jean Letha and Ann will miss the many telephone conversation's they shared together and the fact that she was a true and trusted friend. Those who knew and loved her remember as one who spoke her mind. She also enjoyed the many happy and precious moments she shared with her family. To know Elizabeth was to love her.

Elizabeth Manuel departed this life on February 19, 2019, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her children; Minister Dennis A. Nance and Corena D.J. Manuel; 4 grandchildren, Ja'Shya J. Fitz, Ka'Mya K. Fitz, Jeremiah D.E. Fitz and La'Rya L. Fitz, all of Denver, Colorado; her aunts, uncles, Quincy Jones, II, Riley Jones, Queen Esther Manning, and Ruth Lee Lewis and a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends.
