Elizabeth Louise Elliston-Bryant was born on May 24, 1944, in Denver, Colorado. Elizabeth "Bethy" was the fifth child of Charles E. Elliston, Sr. and Leahjean Moore Elliston. She grew up surrounded by her sisters, Leahjeanne, Carol, as well as her brothers, Charles Jr., Neal, and Frank. Elizabeth was an adventurous child, who loved to play with her siblings. She went to Catholic school during her elementary years, and then continued on to Baker Junior High and Manuel High School. Right after high school, she studied for and received a CNAlicense and gained employment at St. Joseph's Hospital. During her lifetime, Elizabeth would touch many with her work, whether it was as a CNA or a bus aide for the Denver Public School System. Elizabeth met Ivory Bryant during Junior High, and they would eventually be united as husband and wife in February 23rd, 1965. The couple was blessed with three sons: Ivory Eugene, Chris LaRoy, and Marcus Wade. Elizabeth was a loving and devoted mother, who enjoyed watching her boys grow. When she became a grandmother, she was generous with her love and devotion and often spending time with her extended family. Elizabeth enjoyed visiting and vacationing with her sisters, going to bingo with her mother-in-law Ethel Bryant, going to church regularly with her devoted son Chris, and spending time with her husband, grandchildren, and extended family. Elizabeth was called home on January 12, 2016, in Denver, Colorado. Elizabeth has undoubtedly passed on to a better place, where she will be reunited with her parents, Charles and Leahjean Elliston; brothers, Frank and Charles "Chuck" Elliston, Jr.; her eldest son, Ivory Eugene Bryant; a niece, Yvette Elliston-Mack; and her father-in-law, Ivory Bryant, Sr. Nothing will fill the hole left by this loving and beloved woman's absence, but she has certainly left a legacy of love and generosity that will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know this caring woman who loved her family and friends deeply. Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, Ivory Bryant Jr.; her mother-in-law Ethel Bryant; her siblings, Neal Michael (Ida) Elliston, Leahjeanne (Earnest) Johnson, Carol Margaret (David) Smith; her surviving sons, Chris LaRoy and Marcus Wade; her grandchildren, Jenea Chalees Bryant (Shaudae), Kerriane Louise Hodges, Kristopher Jordan David, Kennedy Renea (Marlon) Bryant, and Maiya Tristen Bryant; her great-granddaughter, Alexis Alice Michele; her nieces and nephews, Kyle Johnson, Terrance Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Leah Headen, Alvis Headen, III, Michelle Smith, Everette Elliston, Eric Headen, Dana Moore, Neal Elliston; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews; a wonderful extended family; and countless friends.
