"There is going to be a resurrection"
Dwaine Keith Grant was born on June 5, 1965 in Denver, Colorado. Dwaine was the youngest of four children born to Bobbie Clark and Ted Grant. His brothers, Derrell, Dan and Darwin remember Dwaine as a playful child with his creative ways and humoring himself and others.
Dwaine received his formal education from the Denver Public school system and then went on to study at the Colorado school of construction.
Dwaine was very active. Always on the go and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to go fishing, cooking, watching sports and spending time with friends and family. Dwaine especially loved fried chicken, collard greens, ribs and catfish!
By profession Dwaine was a man of many trades. Dwaine was a Handyman, A scrap metal recycler and an auto detailer. No job was too small for Dwaine and would often help family and friends with side jobs where ever needed.
On 25 December 2021, Dwaine was admitted into the hospital due to having mild covid symptoms, his condition worsened and suffered from complications of bacterial pneumonia. In 2017, Dwaine battled through other illnesses such as cancer and overcame the illness. Throughout his trials and tribulations, he managed to keep a positive attitude, warm smile and could light up a room with his beautiful blue-sky eyes and sense of humor. Dwaine was a compassionate, kind and gentle soul, and loving person. He was always there for his family no matter the circumstances.
He will be deeply missed by all those who had the honor of meeting this great man.
Dwaine is preceded in death by his parents Bobbie Clark and Ted Grant, His oldest brother Derrell Clark and daughter Denaja Keshay Grant.
Those left to cherish his memory include spouse Panon (Pam) Williams, His son Kevin Morgan, Brothers Dan Grant (Wai Yan, Yow) and Darwin Grant of Las Vegas, NV, A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, a host of relatives and many friends.
