Dossie Crump

March 17, 1942 — June 14, 2016

Dossie Lee Huey, affectionately known as T-Bo, was born on March 17, 1942 in Homer, Louisiana. Dossie was the second eldest child of the late Leslie and Louise Huey. Dossie was educated in the Louisiana school system. Dossie loved to travel and lived in various states, including Texas, Arizona and Kansas, before settling in Denver, Colorado. Dossie met and married her first husband Arthur Hall, Sr. in Louisiana. The couple relocated to Colorado in 1965. To this union five children were born, Arthur, Jr., Kathy, Rose, Annette, and Claudia. Dossie occasionally would work two jobs to provide for her family. Dossie worked as a Seamstress for Samsonite for more than 20 years. She retired to care for her family. Dossie was a proud mother, grandmother, and great grand-mother. She was very loving and dedicated. After raising her own children, she took on the responsibility of caregiver and mother to her first born granddaughter. Dossie later married Michael Crump in Denver, CO. No children came from this union. Anyone that knew Dossie knew that she loved shopping, music, cooking, gambling, traveling and family. Dossie enjoyed spending time for the last 20 plus with Clarence "Steve" Williams, her devoted and special friend. Steve was very instrumental in caring for Dossie when and if she needed support. Dossie's family is so thankful that he was there for her up until her last day on this earth. The family will always be grateful for his love and support of their mother. Dossie Lee Hall-Crump departed this life on June 14, 2016 to be with the Our Lord and Savior. She will be missed and her memories will be cherished forever.
