Donald Stevenson

Donald Ray Stevenson was born on October 15, 1961, in Elmore City, Oklahoma to his parents, Herman and Maple Stevenson. He was the oldest of two children. Donald was raised with his younger sister, Netta. In 1977, the family left Oklahoma to relocate to Denver, Colorado. Once in Colorado, Donald was educated in the Aurora Public Schools District. He attended and graduated from Aurora Central High School. While in high school, he played several sports including basketball, football, and baseball. After all these years, the teammates and Donald remain friends. In 2003, Donald met the love of his life, Yolonda Thompson. In 2007, the two would become one in Holy Matrimony. Together, they shared seven children, Donald, Jr., Dontae, Devin, Julian, Dayaunna, Dakryn Sr., and Brendon. Later, he was blessed with nine grandchildren who colored his life with joy. Donald was a hard-working man, a loving father and a doting “Papa Donald”. With his entrepreneur spirit, Donald’s aspirations were to go into business for himself. In 2009, Donald and Yolanda became owners of Y&D LLC, a master commercial cleaning firm. He enjoyed working and did it with excellence. Donald accepted the Lord has his personal savior and was baptized in 2008. He was a member of King Baptist Church in Denver, CO In his leisure time, Donald enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren and of course riding Lolita (his motorcycle). He also enjoyed eating; he was a food connoisseur. His favorite food was one that was edible. Lol Donald loved immensely being a member of the Street Soldiers Motorcycle Club. He was known as “No Limitz” and today, he will be sorely missed by all. Donald Ray Stevenson departed this life on March 7, 2018 in Denver, Colorado, and leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Yolonda; 7 children, Donald (Amber), Dontae, Devin, Julian(Dina), Dayaunna, Dakryn Sr.(Ahndrea), Brendon; his parents, Herman and Maple Stevenson; 9 Grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
