Dolan Curtis Burton was born on September 5, 1978, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Brenda K. Burton and David Lee Luster. He was also blessed to have Cornelius Williams, Sr. as a father in his life for five years. When his mother, married, Richard Chaney, he became a father for the remainder of his life. He was the first born in the family. His brothers are Da-rell, Ta-rell, Cornelius, Jr., Marqell, Marshae and his sisters, Rose, Brittany, and Carenda. Growing up, Dolan loved cars. He began with toy cars which he carried into his adult life. He also loved drums. He used anything he could find to beat on as if it were drums. He was known to be a bit mischievous. He could sell you, the "shirt off your back." Dolan received his formal education in Denver where he attended Carson Elementary, Cole Middle School, Manual High School and he graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. He furthered his education by completing courses to become a Truck Driver. He drove the coach bus to and from the mountains. Dolan was the proud father of a beautiful daughter, Dolasianae. He truly enjoyed the happy and precious moments shared with her. His mother was his best friend. By profession, Dolan was a business entrepreneur. He has driven a Double Deck buses and has been his boss as the owner and operator of a convenience store called Dolan's Corner Market located at 1709 E. 35th Avenue in Denver. He was employed by Embassy Suites as a Lead Chef. Where ever he worked, Dolan was hard working and performed his duties with a spirit of excellence. A man of faith and belief in the Lord, Dolan accepted Christ as his personal savior and joined Macedonia Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Dr. Paul Martin. Dolan was a fun loving man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he continued to love cars, he loved first class paint jobs on his cars, he loved loud sound systems in his cars and he loved to dress and wear nice clothes and shoes when driving his cars. Dolan loved his cars. He also loved video games and was quite competitive when playing games. He was hard to beat. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this one of a kind guy. To know Dolan was to love him but he was a trouble maker and everyone knew that. He is preceded in death by a brother, Da-rell Burton. Dolan Curtis Burton departed this life on September 14, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his parents, Brenda (Richard) Burton Chaney of Denver, and Cornelius (Nancy) Williams, Sr. of Denver; 1 daughter, Dolasianae Burton of Denver; 4 brothers, Ta-rell Burton, Cornelius Williams, Jr., Marquell Burton, all of Denver, and Marshae Burton of Rapid City, SD; 3 sisters, Rose (Kager) Burton Robinson, Brittany R. (Moses) Harris and Corenda Burton all of Denver; 5 aunts, Mae (Don) Dixon, Doris (Vess) Hale, Rosie (Wilborn) Richardson, Mary Burton, and Tammy Burton; 3 uncles, Elard Burton, Dennis (Ruby) Burton and Darcy Burton; 2 God aunts, Helen Lee and Rose Davis; his God uncle, Pastor George L. Roberts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives; his close friends, Greg "Hollywood" Raibon, Drake Wadsworth, Eddie Wadsworth, Romel Trusty, Skeeter, Debra Bar and a host of other friends.
