Demetrius Alvin Stewart, 52, resident of Denver, Colorado, departed this life on Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Demetrius, also known as, "Meachie," was born September 21, 1964, in Erie, Pennsylvania to Marjorie L. Stewart and Walter Stewart. Meachie attended Waukesha North and Strong Vincent High Schools. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Navy from 1983-1987. Meachie was good hearted and the type of person who would help any and every one with no hesitation. He struggled for years but always tried to be a better person. He was a hell of a Floor Sander and could work on anything he put his hands on. One of the best memories is when he had a Spiderman moment and climbed the side of a two story brick house with no leverage what so ever! "My favorite memory of my dad was when he attended my high school graduation. I was so surprise. I knew he was struggling and didn't have the funds to attend however with assistance from his best friend Jake he was able to attend. My dad was very proud of me. He didn't have too much to worry about when it came down to me and my future. With his support I was able to attend college, graduate with my Bachelor's degree and move forward with my career in human service. I will miss our phone conversation. He is preceded in death by his son, Quentin Stewart; brother, William Stewart; father Walter Stewart; grandparents and many others who will welcome and look after him. Demetrius Alvin Stewart leaves to cherish his precious memory his children, Adontis Pinckney, Kiara Stewart, Tiffany Edwards, Q'uaran Stewart, Milan Stewart and Jaden Stewart; his mother, Marjorie L. Stewart; his grandchildren, Joshua Reed, Zakai Pinckney, Zariah Pinckney, Ava Pinckney, Pierra Nunn and Ava Weston; siblings, Walter Stewart, Kevin Stewart, Tyrone Robertson and Margie Stewart; and many aunts, uncles,
