David Junior Slayton was born on April 6, 1980, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Edna Slayton and David Noble. He was the second child born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brothers, Russell, Roderick and his sisters, Amber and Cherelle. As a child, he enjoyed playing video games and going to the park. The family fondly remembers him having a pet dog that was named "TJ." David received his formal education by attending the Denver Public Schools. He united in holy matrimony to Enjoli Garcia in Denver, Colorado. To this union, Daquan and Allihonna were born and with this union, he became the step father of Izayah. This marriage was later dissolved. David was also the proud father of Jayden, Jeffrey and Jaquia. He truly enjoyed the time shared with all his children and was very thankful for them being a part of his life during his lengthy illness. David was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled. He enjoyed the visits to the Casino's in Colorado. He also was an avid Bronco fan. He truly enjoyed watching both the home and away games. He would have truly enjoyed watching the recent playoff game, here in Denver. David's closest friends, Ray, Buck and Dolan will miss the camaraderie they all shared together and the fact that he was a true and genuine friend. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this wonderful man who was giving, loving, caring, loyal and honest. To know David was to love him.
