David "Super Dave" Darnell Edwards was born on October 12, 1961 in Denver, CO to his parents, Kathryn Edwards (deceased) and Johnnie "Sunny" B. Hall Jr. (deceased). He was one out of five children including Tyrone (deceased), Robin, Gordon, and Terry. His step-mom, Margie Anderson, helped raised him with his mother. He grew up in and lived in Denver, as well as lived in Minneapolis, MN for a small portion of his life. Super Dave was a boy-scout and cub-scout during his childhood. He played football for Grant Junior High while growing up in Denver. He was a talented man who applied himself to various interests. He was great with numbers as well. Super Dave was well known for his skills in chess and other games. He was a loving man with seven beautiful children. Cellette Gipson and Super Dave were blessed with Shallum, Andrew, Tamar (deceased), and Timna. Denise McNeil and he were blessed with David, Dominick, and Sir Jason. Super Dave was blessed beyond his children and had five grandchildren. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He always brightened our lives by bringing us laughter along with his playful manner. Super Dave always had wise cracks to share which kept us all smiling. He was spiritual feed at Pleasant Green Church of God of Christ. Super Dave was a hard worker who did general labor. He was that guy you called when you needed something done. There weren't too many things that he couldn't do or help with. Super Dave was dependable and was committed to finishing whatever he started. Super Dave was loved by many and will be missed by all. He was an amazing man who brought joy to his family and friends. He was a man of many talents and who garnered much respect. Unfortunately, Super Dave was taken from us too soon, but leaving us with tons of beautiful memories.
