Daryl “Midge” Lee Doyle was born to his parents, Zenobia Leaks and David Doyle on December 24, 1967 in Denver, Colorado. He was raised with his brothers, Willy, Glenn, Loran, Adrian and Derrick, along with his sisters, Sheri, Felicia, Esther and Latricia.
As a child, Midge enjoyed breakdancing and fishing. He had the best moves and set the standard for those that strived to be great. He attended Thornton High School and later Manuel High School where he graduated.
Following high school, Midge met a young lady named Angela Ivarson. They met through Midge’s cousin, Dianna and were joined in holy matrimony on December 24, 1989.
To know Midge was to know how much he enjoyed his children, Antoine Olivas, Kiara Olivas, Deangelo Doyle, Seqoyah Doyle, Jada Doyle, Lashaya Doyle, Tavaunte Doyle, Faith Doyle, and Elias Doyle. He was gained an additional source of pride and joy with the addition of his grandchildren, Aviona, Demetrius, Fabion, Messiah, Majesty, Amaya, Honesty, Harmony, Zariah, Sariah, La’Vious, Jay’Vyon, Lailah and Kalon. To his grandchildren, he was known as “Papa”. One of their fondest memories include him taking them to play at the park and having movie nights.
When Midge wasn’t spending time with his family, he enjoyed having a cold beverage, watching football, specifically rooting on the Denver Broncos, BBQ’n, playing cards and bones. He also enjoyed hanging out with his best friends, James Jones, Kevin Patterson, Daryle Lee, Marcus Cosby and Jessie.
Midge will be best remembered for his goofy personality, his smile, and his love for his family. Daryle was a peaceful person that never had animosity with anyone. He will truly be missed.
Midge passed away on January 1, 2023, those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Felicia Lawton, Esther Leaks, and Latricia Doyle; brothers, Willy Leaks, Glen McCoy, Loran Harris, Adrian Huges and Derrick Doyle; 10 children, 14 grandchildren, aunts, uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In honor of Midge, please wear bronco colors to the service.
