The 29th day of April, 1988, the weather in Denver Colorado was pleasant and the sun bright. Ms. Earnestine Campbell and Mr. Darrell Keith Scott Sr were blessed to welcome their "SONshine" and they named him Darrell Keith Scott the 2nd. Darrell spent lots of time with his family early on the bond was unbreakable even then. He was with his sisters Nicole and Brittany and cousin Tiara, being the boy always there he was quite mischievous and a jokester but what do you expect from your little brother and cousin especially around all of that estrogen! As a child Darrell was sensitive and caring always respectful. He smiled all the time. His smile was so cheerful that it was infectious. Even at an early age Darrell enjoyed life! He was athletic early playing and excelling in baseball and football. He even began to drive at the early age of 9. He was educated in Denver Public Schools and would complete high school at Smoky Hill in Aurora Colorado. Darrell met his best friends Mercedes Riley, Tyrone Carter and Tywan Carter as a young child and they were life long friends. On Dec 22nd, 2008 Darrell became the proud father of son Kiel Keith Scott with Ms. Ariel Keeling. He was a loving father who was always there and they had such a close relationship and special bond. Kiel is Darrell's mini me. Darrell loved being a hands on father. Darrell was a spiritual child and he would attend church with his Grandpa(Papa Scott). He enjoyed it so that Darrell went home one day and told his mom he wanted to be baptized and she made sure that happened at the age of nine Darrell was baptized at the Greater St. John Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado by Rev. Rodney Perry. He would continue to grow spiritually also instilling it in his son Kiel, praying together. By profession he was an Entertainment Entrepreneur always working hard and being successful. He also enjoyed working out daily. His love and passion for being healthy would grow as he began to not only take care of his body physically he began to eat clean as well, learning how to cook and prepare healthy meals. Darrell also loved to travel. Darrell was a dapper gentleman too. Always put together and dressed the part! He was such an extrovert person. Loving his family and friends, enjoying spending time with them all. Darrell was a wonderful uncle, whom always took up for his nieces and nephews. Spending time with them and they loved their uncle! His friends knew him as Lil D. He was a hugger, when you seen him you knew you had one coming with a squeeze. They always seem to be what the doctor ordered. He would light up the room, the life of the party and would give you the shirt off his back. He was very humble, loyal, giving, thoughtful and would help out in anyway! God sometimes needs a flower for the garden. For us the flower was still in bloom not quite at the peek of it's life. The beauty and the fragrance were just beginning to blossom. We weren't ready to pick the flower. Our understanding is not that of the Master. On November 10, 2016 God looked around His Garden of Life, He then looked to the Garden of Earth and He realized He needed Darrell. We're heartbroken and will miss him. We know he's at rest. As much as we love him, God loves him best. Darrell was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather Mr. Theorthia Scott Sr. Maternal grandfather Mr. Earnest Campbell He leaves to forever cherish his memory his Son, Kiel Keith Scott of Denver, CO Father, Darrell Keith "Louis" (Tamika) Scott of Aurora CO, Mother, Earnestine (Sabeeh El'Amin) Campbell of Aurora, CO Brother Gary (Jacqueline) Reed of Denver, CO Sisters Nicole (Sha) Gamble of Aurora, CO Brittany (Justin Bryant) Scott of Aurora, CO Dominique Scott of Peoria, IL Kennedy Moore of Aurora, CO and Tia Johnson of Aurora, CO Grandmothers Artie Campbell of Aurora, CO and Olivia Scott of Denver, CO Aunt Sheila Campbell of Aurora, CO and Uncles Theorthia Scott of Aurora, CO and Earnest Campbell of Denver, CO.
