Danny Green

Danny Nordne Green, Sr. was born on February 26, 1934 in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Nordne and Vernell Green.

Danny attended Manual High School where he excelled in sports, after graduating he enlisted in the United States Navy. After being honorably discharged from the United States Navy, Danny continued his education at Colorado State College in Greeley, Colorado known today as the University of Northern Colorado. He married Sandra Lucille Robinson from Hanna Wyoming on January 27, 1959, they had four children Denice, Robert, Danny, Jr. and Bryan. Danny and his wife were active members in the church also he became president of the Full Gospel Business men chapter in Englewood. During this time, Danny decided to go back to school to study computer programming while working full time to support his family. Sometime working three or more jobs while maintaining a 4.0 grade point average, and a part time football coach.

After graduating, he excepted a position at Ford Motor Company as a Systems Analyst for over 35 years and retired to pursue his passion, fishing and traveling.

Danny is preceded by his wife, Sandra Green; his daughter, Denice Cason; his parents, Nordne and Vernell Green; a sister, Marjorie Dillard; brothers, Rodney and Sherrell Green.

Danny Nordne Green, Sr., at age 84 passed away at his home in Centennial Colorado on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 07:30am surrounded by his sons. He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Robert, Danny, Jr. and Bryan; and grandchildren: David Cason Jr, Rian Cason, Teneka Sanders, Ashley, Armand, Dia, and Chiyna Green, Dwyane and Miya Bell, Ikeya Rasberry Green including 16 great grandchildren.
