Danita Price

Danita LeVon Price was born on March 25, 1954, in Biloxi, Mississippi on Keesler Air Force Base to her parents, Fate Price, Sr. and Dorla Jean Fletcher Price. She was raised surrounded by her brothers, Fate Jr. and Rodrick, and her sisters, Zoana, Athena, Sonya, Carlotta, Keyshia, Hazel, and Linda. The family relocated to Denver, Colorado where Danita graduated from George Washington High School. Danita united in holy matrimony to Mark S. Crews. They first met when they both were students at Smiley Junior High School. They shared many happy and precious moments together. Danita was employed at the Finance Center on Lowry AFB for a number of years. She also was employed in the Health Care Industry. Wherever she worked, she was hardworking, dedicated and a joy to work around. Danita was a fun loving woman who enjoyed life and those she encircled. She enjoyed sharing with family and friends. She and her mother shared a special closeness and enjoyed conversing with each other on phone. They too shared many happy and memorable moments together. She will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful lady, who had a heart of gold. To know Danita was to love her. She is preceded in death by her father, Fate Price, Sr.; a sister, Hazel M. Price and an aunt, Juanita Kuykendall. Danita LeVon Price departed this life on April 3, 2013, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her husband, Mark S. Crews, Sr.; her mother Dorla Jean Price both of Denver; her step sons, Mark S. Crews, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, Stephen D. (Dawn) Crews, Maitise L. Crews, Micah L. Crews and Dallas Jackson, Jr. all of Denver; her step daughter, Carin Craft Of Aurora; two brothers, Fate Price, Jr. Rodrick M. Price; six sisters, Zoana Price of Atlanta, GA, Athena H. Price, Sonya F. Scott, Carlotta L. Price, Keyshia Price and Linda Price all of Denver; twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends.
