Life's Journey Daney Morel Cloud, Sr. To plant a seed in one's heart…to root it in love… To nourish it with time spent together… Yields a blossom that will flourish forever. Daney Morel Cloud, Sr. was born on April 22, 1954, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Ben M. Cloud and Magnolia O. Clinger Cloud. He was the youngest of eight children born in the family. He has seven sisters, Terry, Marge, Veana, Kaye, Patricia, Princilla, Michelle and a brother, Ben, Jr. As a youth, he enjoyed singing, dancing and playing football. He graduated from Manual High School in 1972, and furthered his education by attending Barnes Business Community College in 1980. In 1974, he met the love of his life, Vivian Marie Jay. They exchanged vows on March 22, 1976, in Denver, Colorado. To this union, four children, Ellena, Sarai, Daney, Jr. and Wesley were born. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was later blessed with eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, they all affectionately called him "Papa" and shared many happy and memorable moments together. At the time of his passing, Vivian and Daney had been married for over forty years. By profession, Daney was employed by General Glass Rustco as a Glass Fabricator Foreman. He was hardworking, dedicated and performed his duties with a spirit of excellence. Daney was studying the Bible and attending the meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was a fun loving man who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with his best friend, Joel Murray. He carried a jovial personality and was very outgoing. He will be remembered for his singing, his hand clapping rhythm, his special smile and caring heart. There will never be anyone who could replace him in our hearts. To know Daney was to love him. Daney Morel Cloud, Sr. departed this life on July 17, 2016, in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Vivian Marie Cloud of Aurora; 2 daughters, Ellena (Stacey) Hicks and Sarai Whitney; 2 sonS, Daney (Nisha) Cloud, Jr and Wesley Cloud; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends. Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be known to God. and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.
