D'Andre Joseph Mayfield was born on February 12, 1995, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Paul D.W. Mayfield and Keedra L. Johnson. He was the third child born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brother, Paul, Jr. and his sisters, Ashley and Kia. As a child, D'Andre loved wearing cowboy boots. If it was left up to him, he would wear them every day. His siblings remember him riding the family dog as if he were a horse. The dog just happened to be a Rottweiler. He loved to play with his favorite power toy car and love to draw and he continued drawing even into his adult life. D'Andre received his formal education by attending the public school system of Denver. In 2014, D'Andre completed his education by graduating from Push Academy. By profession, D'Andre was employed by All Phase Construction. He was hard-working, dedicated and performed his duties with a spirit of excellence. He worked well with his co-workers and was respected by his supervisors. D'Andre was a fun loving young man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed spending quality time with his devoted companion, Shadara and her sweet baby girl, Zah'Niya, his family and his friends. His friends will miss the comraderies they shared together. His smile, caring nature and his heart of gold will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this kind and wonderful young man. To know D'Andre was to love him. D'Andre Joseph Mayfield departed this life on November 23, 2015, in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his parents, Paul D.W. Mayfield and Keedra L. Johnson; his brother, Paul D.W. Mayfield, Jr. all of Denver; 2 sisters, Ashley R.Y. Mayfield of Aurora and Kia L. Mayfield of Denver; his devoted companion, Shadara S. Wallace and her daughter, Zah'Niya A. Brown both of Aurora; his grandparents, Pamela Y. (Garry) Harris of Spotsylvania, Virginia and Gloria J. Wright of Las Vegas, Nevada; his great grandparents, Flora J. Johnson and Betty Box both of Denver; his nephew, Mahaje; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
