Daerius Churchill

November 4, 1992 — January 4, 2015

Daerius Rashaud Churchill was born on November 4, 1992, to the late Glenn Levell Haymore and Therell Ann Churchill in Denver, Colorado. Daerius was the second born to his family. He was raised surrounded by his two brothers, Sammie, Shabias and three sisters, Paris, Leii and Maliaha. As a child, he loved to dance, rap and was very articulate with his hands. During Daerius' childhood, he became close with the Lord and joined New Jerusalem Baptist Church. He took on roles within the church for special events such as dancing, acting in plays, and singing in the choir. As he got older, he took on larger roles such as a dance coach, mentoring youth, and helping with children's bible study. Daerius received his formal education in Denver, Colorado, where he attended Manual High School. In 2014, Daerius fell in love with the beautiful, Kendaja Carter and assumed the role of stepfather to her daughter, Zyion Carter. He loved them dearly. He had such a loving, unconditional heart; he loved his mother, siblings, family, and friends. Daerius was a young man with big dreams and aspirations. While pursuing his dream as an entertainer, he was employed with the Denver International Airport as a Transporter. He was known by his co-workers as positive and dedicated. Daerius continued pursuing his dream by performing in several shows throughout the Denver area expressing his talent. On January 4, 2015, Daerius' short life ended and he was called home to be with his Heavenly Father. Unfortunately, Daerius did not receive a fair chance at life to develop his talent to its full potential. Daerius' love and memories will forever be cherished for time and time to come. Those that are left to cherish his memories are Therell (Tyrone) Churchill (mother, sister's Paris(Quillian) Davis, Maliaha Zepher, Leii Johnson all of Denver, CO; brothers Sammie L Zepher III and Shabias L. Zepher both of Denver, CO, two nephews Quillian & Qwnell Davis both of Denver, CO, two grandmother's, Delores Maxine Bolar of Denver CO, Charlotte Haymore of Aurora, CO; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, Daerius Rashaud Churchill will be missed dearly by all that loved him.
