Cynthia Marie Bowser was born on the 28th day of August 1950, in Denver, CO, to Clarence T. Talley Sr. and Anna Lou Hill Talley. She was the 2nd of five children born to this union. She was raised surrounded by her two sister's Deborah and Donna and her two brother's Clarence Jr. and Robert. As a child, she was always willing to help if she was not reading or watching the sunset. Cynthia graduated from Manual High School in 1968. She furthered her education by attending Denver University. In 1976, Cynthia entered the work force starting at Blue Cross Blue Shield, as an Administrative Assistant. In 1980, she left Blue Cross Blue Shield and begin to work for Chrysler also as an Administrative Assistant. In 1988, she left Chrysler and began her career with the Denver Public Schools System. While there, she worked at several different schools starting at Montbello High School. In 1992, she chose to leave DPS and began working for Executive Career Consults as a Job Placement Specialist. In 1997, she chose to change career paths and began working for Mortenson Construction. It was during this time that she chose to start her own construction business by branching off and becoming a Consultant. The name she chose for her business was Talley Consulting, in which she operated until her passing. Cynthia was also active in many social and civic organizations. In 1977, she became a member of the Order of Eastern Stars. She followed that with the Daughter of Isis, Mountain and Plains Assembly #49 Order of the Golden Circle and The Heriones of Jericho. In 1986, she was appointed as Loyal Lady Ruler for the Mountain and Plains Assembly #49 Order of the Golden Circle. In 1980, she joined Syrian Court #40 and served as Honorary Past Commandress in 1998. She was the Deputy Imperial Directress for the Imperial Drill Team and Color Guard. She was also an active member of the Aurora Chapter of the NAACP and a member of the Masonic Bowling League. She has received numerous awards, honors, trophies, and medals. In her free time, she loved to bowl, cook and watch many different television shows. She also enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends. She carried a jovial personality and had a smile that would light any room. A woman of faith and belief in the Lord, Cynthia was an active member of the Potter's House of Denver. She truly enjoyed her walk with the fellowship shared with her church family. In 1988, Cynthia was diagnosed with breast cancer. During that same year, she went through chemotherapy, radiation and endured a radical mastectomy. She was a true fighter and that didn't stop her from living her life and continuing to participate in many of her activities. In 1989, the cancer went into remission. She was Cancer free for 25 years. On July 7, 2014, at 6:47 pm, Cynthia Marie Bowser was called home to rest with our Lord. At the time of her passing, Cynthia was surrounded by her two children and four grandchildren. Cynthia is preceded in death by her mother, Anna Lou Talley; a brother, Robert "Bobby" Lewis Talley. Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss include her father, Clarence T. Talley Sr. of Denver, CO; her two children, Andre' T. Bowser of Aurora, CO and Mara A. Bowser of Denver, CO; a daughter in law, Charrece Coleman of Denver, CO; two sisters, Deborah A. Thomas, of Denver, CO and Donna T. McCluney of Houston, TX; one brother, Clarence T. Talley Jr. of Aurora, CO; two brother in law's, Alexander Thomas Jr of Denver, CO and Leonard McCluney of Houston, TX; one sister in law, Cathy Talley of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren, Jazli A. Bowser and DeJon L.T. Bowser, both of Denver, CO, TaJuan K. McAllister Jr, and Tre'Vion K. McAllister both of Aurora, CO; two niece's, Cassandra D. Moy of Denver, CO and Omni R. McCluney of Tampa, FL; one nephew, Jerridan R. McCluney of Houston TX; one nephew in law, Keith Moy Of Denver, CO; four great nephews, Tijuwan Randle-Moy, Derion Moy, Kendell Moy and Madison Moy, all of Denver, CO and a host of other relatives and many friends.
