Corey Clemons

Corey DeAndre Clemons Those we love remain with us, for love itself lives on and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone; those we love can never be more than a thought apart; for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart. Corey DeAndre Clemons was born on March 25, 1985, in Wichita, Kansas to Peggy Sue Clemons. He was the second born in the family. He was raised surrounded by his brothers, Marcus, Stacy and Derrell, Jr. They shared many happy and precious moments in their youth. When Corey was two years old, the family relocated to Denver, Colorado. He completed his formal education by attending the Denver Public Schools. Corey was employed by the City of Denver. He worked in the city lighting division. He was hardworking, dedicated and performed his duties with a spirit of excellence. Corey was a fun loving young man, who enjoyed life and those he encircled. In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games, shopping for clothes, shoes, hats and posting them on Facebook. His closest friends, Scotter, Steve, Wayne, another Corey and Ron will miss the camaraderie's they all shared together as friends. Corey was a loving, caring, and quiet man. He truly loved his family and was very protective of them, even more so after the death of his brother, Marcus. He will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known this one of a kind guy who will be tremendously missed. To know Corey was to love him. He is preceded in death by a brother, Marcus D. Clemons; his grandparents, Gene L. Clemons and Shirlean Barnes Clemons; an uncle, Shannon D. Clemons; and a cousin, Trisha L. Wharton. Corey DeAndre Clemons departed this life to the embrace of the Lord on September 27, 2015, in Aurora, Colorado. Those left to cherish his memory and mourn his loss include his mother, Peggy S. Clemons of Aurora; 3 brothers, Stacy E. Clemons, Derrell L. Clark, Jr. and Derrell L Brown all of Aurora; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
