Clarence Thomas called "Cleezy" by family, was born June 6th, 1983 in Denver, Colorado at 9 pounds (all head) to parents, Pam Williams and Clarence Wesley. Clarence was the only child of this union. Pam married Art Williams in December 1983. Clarence was the youngest and the fourth child of Pam and Art's union. Art played a very significant role in Clarence's life. Clarence had two brothers, Ricky and Art Jr.; and four sisters Kisha, Jordan, Cynthia and Barbara. As a baby Clarence had an obsession with his pillow. His pillow was his first best friend. Clarence also developed a passion for video games and basketball at a very early age. During his childhood years he enjoyed many fun times at Cherry Creek Apartments. He would catch wild Gardner snakes and raise them as pets. He spent several days at the park and rec center playing basketball with his friends and family. Clarence also developed a very close relationship with his cousin Jay Berry. They were inseparable. They spent days, months, and years hanging out together. Soon after Clarence finished Elementary, Pam and Art moved to Montbello. There his sister Kisha bought him his first dog that he named Yoshi-Bo after one of his favorite video game characters. His favorite show growing up was Dragon Ball Z. He never outgrew Dragon Ball Z till this day. Clarence was always a loving and caring person. He helped his mom take care of his elderly great Aunt Terri and his great Uncle Eddie before they passed. In 1998 Clarence went to Montbello High School. Before high school he was very quiet and reserved. In high school, his passion for basketball increased drastically but Clarence refused to play basketball for his high school team because he did not want the coaches to holler at him. He didn't like to be yelled at. Clarence was very ambitious so even though he didn't play high school basketball he decided to work. At 15 years old he started his first job at Oakland Elementary as a sweeper kid. He was definitely blessed. Not long after working his first job, his grandpa Lew Thomas gave him his first car, a 1988 Ford Thunderbird. He was so excited about his first car that he saved his hard earned money and painted his car black. In high school he also met one of his best friends, Donque. They enjoyed their time together by going to the mall, playing basketball and playing video games. Clarence had a nact for fighting games so much that he was nearly impossible to beat. He graduated from Montbello High School in 2001. Throughout his life, Clarence developed several friendships. He had many friends and was close to Donque Lee, Donna Dunkin, Ronnie Relf, David Womack and Amber Falls. From childhood to his adult life, Clarence was always a hard-working man that kept a job. He spent 7 years as a Comcast Technician while working part time as a Bail Bonds Recovery Agent. In 2012 he met Victoria Johnson who he fell in love with. They met at a gas station in Montbello. In 2014 they had a baby boy that they named Jai'seaon Thomas. Later in 2014, Clarence was blessed with his second child Arlo Wells. Clarence decided to pursue his relationship with Victoria and they became engaged. Family was Clarence's greatest joy. He was a proud and loving father. He loved laughing and being around family and looked forward to any occasion that would unite them. Family was so important to him that he got a tattoo that said "T.I.P." to represent his love for his family. "T.I.P" stands for Thomas I Promise. Clarence was always excited to play Sunday family football and Sunday family basketball, both traditions that were started by his uncle Ronnie Thomas and his uncle Bruce Thomas. Clarence enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows, playing video games, sharing his thoughts and pictures on Facebook and spending time with his loved ones, especially his children. Just before his passing he was looking forward to spending time with his family and friends at his son Jai'seaon's birthday party. Clarence was kind, quiet, gentle, fair and compassionate, always putting others before himself. He was a handsome man and everyone knows, he LOVED taking pictures. He took pride in his very long hair. Clarence always used to say, "Long hair don't care." He was inspirational and used Facebook to encourage both women and men to do right. Clarence had a natural sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
