Charmaine "Renee" Oliver, was born in Shreveport, LA at Barksdale AFB, on December 26, 1955, she was the first born of six children to Jessie Oliver and the late Dorothy M. Williams Oliver. Renee lived in Seville and Madrid Spain, Philadelphia, PA., Oxon Hill, MD., and eventually settled in Denver, CO. In 1974, she graduated from Oxon Hill Senior High School in Oxon Hill Maryland. In 1978, Renee met Joel McReynolds, and from this union two children, Shaunte and Dominique were born. She considered her children to be the "light of her life". Her maternal instinct arose from being the eldest and helping to care for her siblings. She will always be remembered for her kind and generous spirit for those in need. Renee was known to always express her thoughts in a very direct but loving manner. She had the ability to lift your spirits and make you smile with her sweet sense of humor. In 1996, Renee worked for Domino's Distribution Center in Colorado for 12 years, where she was known as a dedicated employee and hard worker. She also worked at Harvard Square Retirement Community in 2008 as a bookkeeper. In her spare time she dedicated herself to teaching Arts & Crafts to the residents, generosity was one of her many qualities. Her other passions included working with children and young adults, making jewelry and coordinating events. Renee gave her life to Christ at the age of 12. In 2006, she became a faithful and devoted partner of House of Hope Christian Ministries, under the leadership Of Pastor Richard L. Lewis. Renee was a member of the Trustee Board and was Co-Chairman of the Women's Auxiliary. There she used her gift in creating beautiful silk flower arrangements for the church. Coordinated the Sunday church announcements and provided assistance to various events. Renee is preceded in death by her sister Clementine Lynette and her mother Dorothy M. Williams Oliver. Charmaine "Renee", departed this life into the Lords embrace on Friday, January 30, 2015 in Denver, Colorado. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Shaunte and her daughter, Dominique both of Aurora, CO; Her three grandchildren, Julian, Olivia, and Sophia; Her father Jessie Sr.; Her siblings Cassandra, Demetrius "Michelle", Jennifer "Corky", Jesse Jr., Dreya and Devin, Her favorite niece Zari and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; Her God-daughter Destanie and her dearest friends.
