Chardionia Jennings was born on February 1, 1988 in Denver, Colorado to the union of Charrie (Burres) and the late Robert W. Jennings Jr. She was the middle child and the only girl surrounded by four brothers. In her early years, she was an adorable and stunning baby. She was nationally-ranked as a beauty pageant from the time she was born until the age of seven, winning many awards. She enjoyed spending much of her time with her father, practicing for the competitions and filming commercials. After losing her father at an early age, Chardionia was devastated. However, she was up to the tall task of supporting her siblings and family. She would often play fight with her brothers and could hold her own ground. When her mother wasn't around, Chardionia proclaimed herself the boss and her brothers would say, "you always tryna be somebody's mama." Let's just say, she was always able to get her point across.
Chardionia loved to spend time with family, friends and loved ones. Many loved ones would call her "Shawty" or
"Chardi." Growing up, she was always around children where she would support both her mother and grandmother's daycare businesses. As a teen, she also loved to create praise dances and perform them in front of the church. She graduated from the Community College of Aurora where she earned her G.E.D. and later took college courses earning certificates in billing and coding.
In her spare time, Chardionia loved to travel. At one point, she lived in California, Georgia, and N. Carolina. She volunteered as a youth cheer coach for the Mile High Gorillas. She loved to sing and dance and hang out with the many friends she had gained over the years. There wasn't a person Chardionia interacted with who she didn't leave an impression on. She loved everyone and was always wanting to support. She had many friends who loved to be around her infectious energy.
There was nothing Chardionia enjoyed more than being a mother. She went from "tryna be somebody's mama," to being a phenomenal mother. She first became a mother when she and Jovan Joseph had their son, Jovan Joseph, Jr., who gained his angel wings at the time of birth. Chardionia was unsure if she was able to have children again.
On May 27, 2022, she and Jeremiah Fitz welcomed their beautiful daughter, Sadrionia Fitz to this world. Chardionia was the happiest she had been in years. She dedicated her life to being the best mother. She faced many challenges in life but always kept her faith and remained resilient.
Chardionia was a caring and loving mother, sister, daughter, niece, granddaughter, cousin, friend and much more.
She left an impactful imprint on so many lives. She is preceded in death by her two children, Jovan Joseph, Jr. and Jhyonia Fitz, her father Robert W Jennings Jr, grandparents Robert W Jennings Sr, Erma Jennings, and Charles Tillus.
She left this world suddenly and gained her wings on April 8, 2023.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Sadrionia Kayvon Noelle Fitz of Denver, CO; her mother, Charrie Burres of George Town, DE; her brothers, Hilbert Chris (Centrice) Smith of Virginia Beach, VA, Brandon (Leah) Jackson, Robert Jennings III, Xavier (Gabrielle) Jennings all of Denver, CO; grandmother, Vivian Handy and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We would also like to take this time to honor Jhyonia Princess Miracle Fitz. Her time on earth was very brief but we will forever have an angel in Jhyonia
