The Star’s Story

Cedric Elijah-Marcos Allen

You are not forgotten, loved one Nor will you ever be, As long as life and memory last, we will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore,as time goes by we’ll miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face, no one can fill your vacant place.

Cedric Elijah-Marcos Allen was born on July 26, 2007, in Denver, Colorado to his parents, Shawntaia Marie Berrien, and Cedric Darnell Dontae Allen.  He was the second child born in the family.  He was raised and surrounded by his brother, Jae-Sean, and his sister, Ma’Riah.

Cedric loved watching WWE on television and spending quality time with his cousins.  Cedric loved to eat.  He enjoyed going to his grandma’s house on Sunday for dinner.  He also enjoyed going to various restaurants in the area.  He shared a special relationship with his grandfather. They enjoyed talking on the phone and visiting each other. He was the type of person, who didn’t mind letting you know that he loved you and would do it at every chance. Those who met him would immediately fall in love with him.

Cedric received his formal education in Denver, Colorado and was currently enrolled in John F. Kennedy High School.  While in school, he earned a Perfect Attendance Certificate, a Star Award of the Year.

A Best Dressed Award, and the Best Smile Award. He was the most popular student in every school he attended because of his down to earth personality.

Cedric was no stranger to work.  He would go to work with his godfather, Jimmy at his Car Shop and help him around the gas station.

Cedric was a young man of faith and worshipped with several of the ministries in the area.  He believed in the power of prayer and having a relationship with the Lord.

Cedric was a fun-loving person who loved the moments spent with Kim and Jim in their home, with Isa, Tiffany, Jamie, his second family.  He loved them all so very much.  He was extremely close with his brother, Jae-Sean and his sister, Ma’Riah. He was also close to Destiny, he loved their two dogs, and all of his cousins.  They all will miss his smile, his love, his caring, and how he would greet them with welcoming “Hi” as only he could do.  To know Cedric was to love him.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Eric L. Berrien, Sr.
