Cecil Rayneal Williams, Jr. was born on August 23, 1971, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Cecil Rayneal and Bobby Jean Lawrence Williams. He was the oldest child of two born to this union. Cecil, Jr. had the opportunity to grow up in different states for his father served in the Air Force. Cecil, affectionately called "Junior", was surrounded by his brothers Richard Lawrence, Quincy Austin, Earl Williams, Danny Long, Jr. and his sisters Anna Lawrence, Arika Lawrence Points, Trineka Lawrence, Angela Harris, Quinisa Lawrence, Jazmine Lockett, Brishetta Hurd, Sharvelle Hurd and Casundra Harris. Junior prided himself on being different and standing out in a crowd. As a child, he loved to ride dirt bikes and to go swimming. He was daring and did every sort of stunt both on land and in water. As a youth, Junior resided in Denver, Colorado with his father and later moved with his mother to live until he graduated from Montbello High School. Junior became bilingual by mastering the Spanish language. He earned college credits in business and real estate. Later, Junior was blessed with three children, Qkeiarra Blanton, Bessie Mae Thomas and Journee Roette and two grandchildren, Damiyah Thomas and Branae Thomas. Junior continued to pursue new things to do and learn. In his spare time, he liked to cook various dishes just to try them out. When Junior traveled, he enjoyed diverse cultures. By occupation, Junior was a professional Auto Transporter. His co-workers loved him. Junior was responsible to transport the most valuable vehicles to their final destinations. Junior loved and cherished his 2008 Mercedes Benz. Junior created his own memoir through pictures and storytelling for friends and family. His chosen pastime was to hang out with his cousins and friends. Junior was the type of person that did not believe in meeting strangers—everyone was a friend with their own story to tell and everyone had to be picture ready to have some fun. As a matter of fact, his favorite saying was, "If you are always ready, then you don't have to get ready." Junior will be remembered as an outgoing, loving and caring soul. He helped anyone in need. Preceding Junior in death was his Granny, Roette McCray-Taylor, whom he and other grandchildren knew as "Mama." Cecil Williams, Jr. departed this life on November 5, 2015, in Dallas, Texas. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Qkeiarra Blanton, Bessie Mae Thomas and Journee Roette of Denver, Colorado; his father, Cecil Lawrence of Ardmore, Oklahoma; his mother and stepfather, Bobby Jean (Danny) Long of Denver, Colorado; his brothers, Richard Lawrence of Austin, Texas; Quincy (Sarah)Austin, Earl Williams, Danny Long, Jr. all of Denver, Colorado; sisters Anna Lawrence, Arika Lawrence-Points, Trineka Lawrence, Angela (Julio) Harris Bauzo, Quinisa Lawrence, Jazmine Lockett, all of Denver, Colorado; grandfather and grandmother, Charles and Maxine Boyles of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; stepmothers, Donna Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia, Lisa Austin of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Damiyah Thomas and Branae Thomas of Denver, Colorado; his stepson, JJ; stepsisters, Brishetta Hurd and Sharvelle Hurd of Denver, Colorado; god- sister Casundra Harris of Phoenix, Arizona; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and countless friends.
